The announcement made across their social media was made in conjunction with the business's "AI Everywhere" event today in New York.

Intel's Core Ultra processors enter the market
Intel Core Ultra processors, code-named 'Meteor Lake' are the mainstay of Intel's newest brand of artificial intelligence (AI)-focused PCs.

Specifications like the "neural processing unit" for a range of AI applications and a newly developed "Intel ARC Graphics" to boost 3D graphics performance were on display on the day.

They are also the very first constructed on Intel 4 Process Technology. The chips are placed on top and surrounded with varying types of silicone as well as a packaging technique called "Foveros".

Intel claims they are one of the most efficient processors Intel has ever developed. They come with two battery-saving cores "P-Cores for high-performance tasks and E-Cores, which tackle mundane jobs" according to the announcement of today.

Intel Executive Vice General Manager and President of Client Computing Group, Michelle Johnston Holthaus told Intel's website "The announcement of Intel Core Ultra represents the unprecedented scale and speed at which Intel is enabling AI to run on the PC. By 2028, AI computer systems will account for 70% of the market for PCs."

Intel unveiled its 14th Generation Core series of desktop processors in October this year. Intel along with Apple have been battling it across 2023 as they both trying to provide the most powerful laptop processors, including the leak of Apple's M3 Max processor earlier this month.

AI has been a prevailing issue throughout 2023, with the 27 EU member states signing this Artificial Intelligence Act. This was the first time in the global community to reach an agreement on the ethical management of AI and its use across the EU.
